Got a call from my dad this morning telling me my mom is back in the hospital. She has been in and out several times in the past week due to dizzy spells. Her heart rate is about 60 bpm then it will fall to 30 bpm for a few minutes then go back to 60 bpm. The doctor informed her she needs a pace maker.
I can deal with all of the above knowing my mom's age. What I am having a hard time dealing with is the response she gave the doctor when she was told she needs a pace maker.
She said.... I am 83 years old and ready to go home if that's what the good Lord decides. Do you really think all this fuss over me is needed.
