Bryce, your tractor has a high speed transmishion in that low in it is equal to second in the 41 to 44 model years and again in the pressed frame later B tractors. I had a 46 and all it would handle was 2-12" at 6" deep in heavy ground. If it was one with the other gearing you would not have noticed it like you did with the high speed gearing. And the tractors a couple of others said they did not have problems with have the slow speed gearing. My 46 B in low traveled the same speed as Dad's 49 B did in third plowing but his was governed at PTO speed and mine I had the throttle stop removed. Both tractors with 2-12" pull type plows.
