Looks like we"re about to make a major change – again. SWMBO has had enough snow so we"re going back south. Anyone know what if anything is required to transport a small tractor into Fla? It'll be a one-way trip.
It"s a Yanmar 1610D – about 20 hp with a loader. Yeah, I know it ain"t American iron but my AC D17 Series 1 nf had to stay in NC – not enough flat room to turn it around it here in WV and this little things does all I need now – cheap, too!
I have all the truck & tandem trailer needed to transport the tractor to Fla but I was wondering about regulations and the Agricultural Check Point at the state line.
The truck, trailer & tractor are all private, not for hire. None of this equipment has been used in any type of money making operation (for sure!!!) and I have no plans to do anything other than private gardening in the future.
Do I need to stop at the commercial / Ag check points or weigh stations?
