Black slime is algae. Nothing to do with the oil. The new fuel doesn"t lubricate as well as the engine manufacturers would like it to. 2-stroke helps lube the older pumps, but there is no need to spend a lot of money on it. Cheapo wally"s-mart stuff does as well as anything. Many fuel additives actually do very little to help lube injection pumps.
