My wife bought some corn seed for my first planting so I did not know the price to get sticker shock then.
But I stopped by the feed store to pick up some more for the second planting and about fell out when the cashier told me the price.
1/4 lb of Merit sweet corn ..... $10.55
Now I know you pay a premium buying small quantities but let�s get real here because that is over $1600 for a 40 lb bag So I asked her what a 40 lb bag was and she said it is well over $300 a bag
I could see it if this was RR and a big chunk was going to Monsanto but for old run of the mill sweet corn that is just outrages.
