Heres how to wire it, same info I already posted below but you asked again and Im here to help best I can:
BAT on VR to Load (NOT battery/starter) side of ammeter
FLD on VR to gennys FLD Post
ARM/GEN on VR to gennys ARM post
LOAD on VR wires up to BAT INPUT terminal on lights or ignition switch, it furnishes hot battery voltage for loads.
Often on those 4 terminal VR"s GEN/ARM is off on one side or underneath all alone
If the VR isnt marked, one thats open circuit to case frame is BAT,,,,,One with very low ohms to case frame is FLD,,,,,,,One with maybe 20 to 50 ohms to case is GEN/ARM,,,,,,,,LOAD terminal has low resistance over to BAT terminal
The VR DOES NOT GET POLARIZED, ONLY the Genny, so if its polarized youre good to go.....
