You did not get hurt on the truck and trailer. You should get along fine with them.
The AC 7000 did go cheap. I hope there is nothing wrong with it. They are not a cheap tractor to work on. The gear shifter is a very poor design that makes it a real toe catcher getting in and out. The Cab doors on these where a PIA too if you have any size to you. They did not open quite far enough for easy travel. For $6700 you should be fine as long as it is all OK.
