Hi all,
I"ve got a problem and need help! Got a 2004 Chevy 2500hd that is constantly going into reduced power mode. It only does it when in wet conditions, but not all the time. Today a mist will set it off and tomorrow it will run fine in a downpour. Very sporadic and flat out dangerous. BAD feeling going down the road at 70mph with a load of tractors and suddenly your motor shuts down!! Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it? Any suggestions????....... At wits end with this thing.
I have had the dealership and private mechanics try to fix it, but no luck yet. Figured I would try here before it is fixed with a can of gas and a match!
