How can you value your privacy and then say you won't deal with someone that doesn't leave their phone number?
Maybe they value their privacy? If you put your phone number up on craigslist, it's then out there for everyone to see for all eternity.
I won't put my phone number in an ad. Instead I state that I will respond to all emails in a timely fashion, and I do. If the person seems serious enough then I take the next step and give him a phone number.
The nice thing about dealing with emails is you can weed out the freaks and geeks and tire kickers without having to deal with them directly.
