No pictures, of course, but when I was in high school, I worked after school and weekends on a farm about 2 miles away by gravel road. Gravel roads are pretty tough on bald tires, so Dad and I had a system- I had 2 spares in the back of the '50 Chev Sedan Delivery- when I got a flat, I changed it, and took the blown one home that night and put it in his rig, to take to work with him the next day. On his way home, he'd stop at Capitol Auto Wreckers in Tumwater, where they had bald tires that would hold air for $2, with trade (so they could scrap the rim). He'd bring my "new" spare home, and I was back in business.
Why 2 spares? In case I had another flat before he got my new spare. Which was known to happen. I got really fast at changing tires.
