I do not post my number on Craigslist because I got tired of being called by drunks in the middle of the night. It only takes a couple of times to get really annoying. I do reply to all emails I receive within 12 hours or less of getting them unless they say "do u have it?" or "what is your best price" or something else random that looks like spam to me. When I write to an ad on Craigslist I try to state in the subject line and in the email what the item is that I am asking about and to say it in such a way that the seller can tell I am a real person not a computer generated message.
