My wife and three kids each have a Kindle. Despite all of them getting treated very gently, they've all had to be sent back for warranty work. My kids are all on their replacement Kindle. My wife sent her's back and got a replacement, and then the replacement crapped out. After that, they wouldn't send her a replacement, even though the original warranty was still in place. The reloading of all your material was seamless, but they have not been reliable at all.
