So Larry you are in to stones..How was the walls constructed. Rocks mortared together as one would lay bricks then the outside smeared with mortar or concrete? Almost looks like they built a big form and filled it with rocks and mortar. I would bet what was left is the result of a fire. Really interesting photos. All we had in those days here in Tennessee were log cabins... LOL.
