Aside from the farming operation my wife and I live pretty cheap, wood heat, big garden, wife cans and freezes, eat a lot of deer meat because its cheap (price of a bullet) and its healthy meat, raise chickens, wife makes most things from scratch buy things like rice and flour in 25lb bags, have a gravity flow irrigation system from a spring on this farm for the garden. We don't go 'on vacation' because we have what we want to do here.Thats the key really is what you're satisfied with.At your new place plant lots of fruit/nut trees and berries great eating, healthy and a steady supply of something all season.
