It has been a nasty winter up here in the St. Law. River valley. We have had colder and we have had snowier, but in terms of challenging weather, this year it has been rough: Since Sandy: Two massive windstorms, Two massive (1'+ snowstorms, with one more if you include the one that is coming, ice storms, bouts of heavy "wet concrete" snow knocking our power, then sprinkle in deep thaws, and three weeks below zero after one thaw, the unplowed roads (this killed two of my neighbors), and shoddy weather forecasting, I will sure be glad to see spring.
