When I started mowing I had a TO 20 about the same thing as a 30. I had problems like you mentioned. I found a stronger made adapter which worked ok. Another thing that can be done is get the complete shaft with the larger spline. They just pull out, and are easy to change. Might go to the Harry Ferguson forum, and smeone who knows what model uses the shaft with the larger spline.Stan
