Very true. Most often they rate vehicles based on how many ad dollars are spent.
Going back to the warranty issues for G, you say you don't care about it as long as the fix is free. Well you can brag about how great a vehicle is while you are bumming rides, riding public trans or walking while the dealer is fixing your vehicle. If/when I buy another new one I have to drive a compact loaner I'm going to be pretty mad and darn sure will not be braggin about my "new" truck that's broke.
