I have had canons and lexmark and I have found that an HP 8500 series Office Jet Pro is reliable (not cheap ink, but big cartridges. Solid printer scanner fax copier. It is all we use for color. For B&W printing a Laser HP1509 series or similar are cheap and stone reliable with months between uses, and many many prints per toner ctg. Jim
