They do the vid stuff here and the 4 schools within a 20 mile circle still have most if not ALL students that have to do a couple of years in a community college to get caught up enough to finish in a regular 4 year college. Pretty sad when a kid who is the valedictorian and took all the hard classes can't even pass the entrance exam to get in the Air Force Academy.
My wife just a couple of years ago took a 2 year AG program at the closest community college. The school hired here for about 15 hours a week to tutor kids both in math and english. Most of the kids she helped were local kids we know who did well in the local schools but couldn't deal with college level math and wrote at a 8th grade level. 2 of them were a niece (B average in highschool) and a nephew who was a slacker in school.
