In 1980 my dad had drove from Az to Ohio, some 1950 miles one way, and picked up his model A Ford with tractor adaption kit. Then sometime in the mid 1990's, a friend of my dads hauled my grandfathers WD45 to Az from the same area in Ohio for us. We've also gotten two other ACs hauled from MD, at something like 2400 miles. Again, some friends were able to haul them for us at less expensive rates than normal freight. Technically, Dad owns another in Md, and some more stuff in Ohio, but he's yet to get the ambition to go get them(there with a good friend and a close relative so no worries) and it currently appears the only way he will get them is to go after them himself.
