I really admire Mrs. Spencer. She's taught that music in schools for over 25 years. I thinks it's wonderful to pass those old songs and style of music down to others. She plays claw hammer style and again is the best I've seen. It's hard to beat a family band as they just play and sing so well together.
The daughter Martha reminds me of June Carter Cash in her younger days. This young lady can really sing as well as play most any instrument she picks up.
Each time I've seen them play they always invite everyone to get up and dance and the floor fills up. After the show some of the members come out and talk to the audience and sell some CD's. Very nice folks as was everyone I talked to there.
