MF Poor pretty well nailed it. I"m assuming a 4-wheeler would be classified as an atv. I use mine EVERY day to check cows, move electric fences, pull my wood splitter, haul pretty much anything in the way of tools, pull small trailers hauling hay, move empty wagons.....run to the shed for more beer...got the picture yet? I also have bad knees and getting off and on tractors all day just kills me. I ride my 4-wheeler "side saddle" style. 'Don't have to swing my leg over that thing this way and sure cuts down on knee pain. Just walk up to it, turn side ways and plop my old butt down....hit the starter, I'm gone. I used to have a Honda Goldwing motorcycle, my wife said one day "Why don't you trade that thing off for a 4-wheeler". 'Smartest thing that woman EVER told me! I did.
