I restored 5 or 6 of those StandardTwins back in the 1970's. They were all gear driven with a mullti-disc clutch that ran in oil. They also had a pto. They used a pulley on the pto to run the sicklebar mower. They would pull a 10-in plow like it wasn't on there. They made a VikingTwin too, but I never had one. I did have a Viking G. I gave $15.00 for it 1960 that included the cultivator, disc harrow and moldboard plow. I kept the plow when I sold the Viking. Hal

If your tractor is going to be stored for any length of time, a few precautionary measures are helpful in preserving various parts, also in avoiding future difficulty. Store tractor under cover. If impossible to place tractor under cover, be sure to cover air stack and exhaust pipe. Drain radiator and engine block. To avoid gum content collections, drain both fuel tanks and carburetor. Leave radiator and fuel caps slightly loose to protect gaskets. Block tractor up to remove weight from tires and to keep tires from contact with moist floor.
