JimB...Some farmers push ploughs on the front linkage...if a tractor will pull 5 furrows it will push 4 furrows also, just have to go a bit slower, but 9 is quicker than 5! When it comes to harvest time seeding we sometimes put a power harrow on the front and the drill behind for a 'one pass' seedbed. I used a 10 foot mower on the front and two 10ft 'butterfly' mowers on the rear.....10ft is our max on the roads. Sometimes we push grass into the silo bunkers with a buck-rake on the front...and of course it is used for the weight block! Sam
