Mine was round stock with a raised strip on each end too. Mine was not twisted tho. I got it from my local Chevy dealer about 8 years ago. The parts man at the time was a 40 year veteran of the business so I'am sure he knew just where to get the part numbers for them. Since GM dumped medium duty trucks when the government took them over I don't know if they still carry any parts for medium duty trucks. I have a GM medium duty parts book in the shop, I'll take a look tomorrow if I remember and see if I can find a part number.
