Anybody ever threatened to quit farming before you'd do something? I was reading a CaseIH ad this morning for the teir 4 engines,got me to thinking about all the times I've threatened to quit farming before I'd do that. Like I'd quit before I'd put in a bulk tank and stop shipping canned milk. I'd quit before I'd pay over a dollar a gallon for gas or diesel. I'd quit before I'd take a test and get certified just to buy and use pesticides. I'd quit before I'd pay $50 a bag for seed corn. I'm sure there've been a hundred other empty threats like that,but those just popped in to my mind real quick. A person changes their mind in a hurry when it comes right down to where the rubber hits the road I guess.
