I had toro also, walkbehinds in the 90s than a toro z, it just would not cut real nice. So I went out on a limb and bought an exmark, it's 10 years old now but still cuts great, so in 05 I bought another 60" lazer z, 3rd kohler engine but mows great, best thing you did was get the diesel, I messed up so bad getting a gas engine! I never thought the mower itself would out last a engine, man was I wrong, those kohler command 27 hp are junk. So be glad you got the diesel, you get 6000 hrs vs 1400. Lol
