I have never planted one but I have been trying for 6 years to cut them all down and kill them on my place. I hate them. They break down in every ice storm. Then grow out like a giant bush with a million stickers on them. I cut them down. poison the stump then burn all the wood in a big pile. I wish I had a transporter like on star trek and I would send you all of mine gladly. Cant tell you the number of flat tires I have had over the years from them.
