I bought a waterproof jensen jdh905 stereo and speakers at the j.d. dealer today for my tyrex utv, this was all sold as a kit with all the wireing etc, and the sound distorts at around 3/4 volume. The thing is a 2 channel output at 15 watts per channel and the speakers are 35 watts each. I wired the positive and ground to the power plug wires because it was a good ground and positive source. I think it may need an amp but am not sure. I can't hear it when operating the utv. Any help would be great, thanks!
