Thanks Jim, the parts guy said they are buying them up for gaters and have had no complaints but he didn't know where the speakers were mounted. I mounted mine under the dash for less water splashing and to hide wires. I hooked a big home speaker to it and had the same result. And hooke one of the tyrex speakers to the home stereo and it sounded fine.
