I get all the hay ground I want for free because the owners need a farmer to cut and bale the hay off their land to get a farm real estate tax rate. I even turned down some this past Summer that the guy offered to pay me to cut and bale and I keep the hay but I already had about 2X the hay I needed already.Mild Winter and lots of hay is making hay prices go below what it costs to make it.Farming in Semi-Suburbia has its rewards(LOL)
