Got a ford 641 winter project and working at the radiator, the one that came on it is wasted. I know what the aftermarket re-pops are going for and understand the quality differences between the original and what's available new. Took it to the radiator shop and the gentleman quoted me $600.00 to recore, tanks are in decent shape. When I picked my jaw up off the floor, cat said price was because copper was so high. I believe I was fed some bull. Anybody had a recore done lately? Ballpark price. Not many shops around here. Anyone have a recommendation on someone that can recore? No problem shipping it.
