Dad put up 5 solar panels before he died, screwed 'em to the house. They charged his batteries better than his wind generators. He was thrilled.
I've been thinking of mounting one or two panels on an old pole-mount for a 8-foot satellite dish. It's been done before, and I already even have the controller to swing the dish. That's a fun idea for warmer weather.
