Justair, I have a 08 Sienna that has cold piston slap. Never talked to the dealer about it because I know what it is and it's off warranty so I just figured I'd run it till it blows up. Could be my fears are unjustified after reading this blog. I do know an aluminum block engine will let more noise out. I had an 84 Chevette that had an engine knock at any temp when I bought it with 48000 miles on the clock and it still had the same knock when I drove it to Grab-N-Go with 150000 miles on it. Jim
