we had 2 - love the 4 cyl EcoTec engine, decent power at part throttle and when you stomp on the gas it really winds up and howls, oil changes are very easy
the 2006 had leaky fuel pump on top of gas tank = expensive fix but factory finally paid for most of it, intermediate linkage on power steering has recall
2007 was lot better but same power steering reacll, terrific gas mileage, we would regularly get 34 mpg on highway
car is nothing fancy but decent in the smow if you have good tires
they stopped making them in 2010 or I would have bot another one, the Cruze is heavier with smaller motor, to get crusie control you have to buy the smaller motro with turbo
