Yes, mine is a row crop as well. Mine has the fast hitch. Dad was combining with a pull type combine, and his shoulder flared up, he couldn't pull the lever up and down on the ends for combining beans. This tractor came up and he bought it used. Not sure if I was around or not at that time - he said it was a real basket case after he got it home, lot of neglect.
When he fit a Case 3pt corn planter to it, he had to put in a top link hole on the tractor above the pto. It didn't come with one. I'm thinking later models of the 300 did have that top link hole, only the 1st year model did not?
