Nowadays there are toys and games at the store all of the year. When I was old enough to remember there were no toys in the store until from Thanksgiving to Christmas. They were in a place where chilren could not pick them up and handle them. There were toy horses and wooden wagons. There were whistles, horns, toy watches and dolls.
When I go into the store today and see all that goes on, I wonder if we are doing right by our kids.
