I just completed a 18000' project, but have done about 25000' of this fencing. The wire is a 2x4 Horse fence or known as Max tight, etc etc. It is not welded, but has a knot. I had to replace all my 2x4 welded after three years because it came un-welded. The best way is to put the pins in as posted below. You can also use three inch screw and toe screw two of them in each end. E-mail if you need more photos.
