davis123, I like it. I always liked wood grips and these grips fit my hand better and allow my thumb to have a resting place,without slipping, for a better grip.I bought this one because of the fact it was made in Germany,(always believed they are best at fine fitting parts) and on top of that it's Stainless Steel, with no plastic. I really do like the safety's features,and the weight of it,I can tell it's there,but not so obnoxious with weight.Also have a 1911- 45,but it's fine shooting,but a trifle heavy for these old bones to carry,nothing wrong with em,but for me with carrying it on body really pulls to that side. Sorta like having one tire stuck in the mud,and the other one with traction,ends up going in circles.lol. Not really condusive for me with bi-lateral neuropathy,but love the gun,so it stays.
