If you have the opportunity I would go to a shooting range that rents guns. Its one thing to pick out a gun but another to have a gun a woman can handle. I had to buy my wife three guns before I settled on a 380 which she can barely handle. She still has a little trouble chambering a round with a semi-auto but she can handle the recoil. I started out with a 38 revolver and she couldn't handle it. She couldn't handle the recoil and almost let it hit her in the face. I then went with a 9mm and she couldn't chamber a round and couldn't handle the recoil either.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
