I checked literarture in my files...that size...3 different brands, averaged 3176 lbs. I've moved at least 6 bins, from 1400-6000 bu. Secure them so they don't slide sideways on the trailer....anchoring just to the roof is not enough. Mount a 2x4 up the front side of the roof, over the roof, down the back- so low-hanging wires don't snag. SCOUT THE ROUTE. Here, most REA lines have the ground as the lower one, and 22 feet clearance on County and most twp roads. High bins, split horizontally, midway up, then one vertical split on the lower half, pull it inside the bin and bolt it to the upper half when lowered onto the trailer.
