I have a 1970 2500 its been a good hoe. I agree with both JM. Carogator.If you are going to just use it occasionally on the farm as I do it will be a good machine. Never had problems finding parts. If you get it make sure to get all the manuals also most important is the parts book. My IH dealer does not have part numbers for my hoe but if I give him the number he can order the parts I need.
