Along that line, a few years ago just south of me was a old house. The original house was logs and had siding over the outside and drywall on the inside. Also had a fireplace and chimney, that was nice. The owner hired a friend of mine to tear it down and burn it. Well he seen what was inside, and sold it to another guy (the log cabin and fireplace) Well they were taking it apart and numbering the logs and the stones and the owner came out to see how they were doing. He didn't want the house saved. He called the Sheriff, the Sheriff said he had contracted to have it torn down, and if the contractor wanted to sell it to someone else he could. The owner had been offered 5000 for the fireplace a year or so earlier and wouldn't sell it. Really a sad story because both of them are gone now. Must be something I don't know about this deal.
