I changed my jubilee over to vertical exhaust. Got the pipes here on YT. My tractor had a muffler running sideways under the hood. The pipe connect to the exhaust perfectly. Down side is when it's cold, you will take a shower. Condensation will come out the exhaust until it warms up. Another down side is everything in the rafters will get blown loose when you start it inside a barn or garage.
I never leave mine outside in the rain. I did put a 90 on the top of my exhaust, I back in the garage and when I start it, all the exhaust goes out the door.
A small shower from the vertical exhaust is better than smelling the exhaust if the wind is in the wrong direction.
