I work on these blue fords on a daily basis, I have a 5610 I am rebuilding right now. Good luck finding 4.2 Gas pistons and rings.I have 3 very good engine parts suppliers and they don't have them. I disagree on doing the valve job and leaving the bottom alone. I have never done just a valve job that didn't drink oil after it was done. Fords don't have replaceable guides and you have to buy oversize valves, knurl the guides or have universal guides installed. none of which is cheap. If you don't put a lot of hours on it leave it alone or trade tractors.
