A local retiring farmer has his 4440 for sale. Nice clean one owner, quad range, 85% Goodyear radials and new front Firestones. Set of duels and front weights included. Tractor has 4000 hours. He had a smaller farm and most of the hours are from haying. He is very particular on maintenance, all repairs and maintenance done at the local Deere dealer. He is firm on 30K. Seems like a lot but for those hours? On tractor house there are only 3 4440's listed in the country with less than 5000 hrs. SO, I don't like when people ask these questions on here but I can't resist. Talk me in or out of this tractor, opinions? keep looking? I have been looking for a good planter/spraying tractor for some time.
