All,
In deference to the previous post, in 1991, I went to a NASCAR event in Richmond VA.
Long story, but there was a fellow that failed to remove his cover (hat/cap)during the anthem(and Racers" prayer);he was duly warned by many spectators.
Several folks alerted him to the fact that he"d best uncover during the Anthem.
The unusual bruises encountered by the fellow were noted by security that escorted him to proper medical folks.
Rarely was I ever so glad to see real folks in action.
I proudly remove my hat and place my hand over my heart... I did not participate with the corrective social behavior at that moment.
