Some of this could be hereditary instead of learned. Marilyn has 14 brothers and sisters. Her dad was a hard driver and a hard worker. When he passed away his body just couldn't hack it anymore and it gave up and quit. Some of the kids, Marilyn included, are like their dad. They literally work until they drop. The rest aren't lazy by any means but they're more content to just faithfully spend their 8 hours and then relax.
I do know other families who whine and moan about how much they are overworked but they never get anything done, and I tend to think that's a learned behavior. Jim
