I had a guy who was legal in the right of way with his snowmobile that got too close to my fence and got tangles up in it. I saw it happen. By the time I got my warm stuff on, got the sled fired up and got to him, he and his bud were cutting my fence to free his sled. I stood there and made them fix my fence, took em on a "tour" to show them that in fact that fence was keeping cows in. Then had em in for a cupp of coffee. The guys were very sorry and being city boys never gave any thought that a fence may be there for a reason. Now they stop in every year and say hi. But I hate to think what would have happened had they just cut the fence and left. That fence is on a state highway.
