I've had real good service from Goodrich on 1 ton/ 3/4 ton. Currently running BFG "all terrain" on the back and good for all around conditions. Would work great on the back but I don't think you want them on the front. BFG "commercial" on the front.
Consider BFG "rugged trail" on all fours. A friend of mine runs those at each corner of a 4wd and about to buy 2nd set after a long life from the first set. Whatever you do, get the heavier "E" range tires.
The cars and the 1/2 ton suburban all run Michelin. I would buy Michelin for the 1 ton but can't swing it at $300 bucks each! BFG is a good compromise on price and quality.
I have never worn out a Goodyear tire. They always separated or the bead failed before the tread wore out. I quit buying them over a decade ago.
